October 24, 2008 - At the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Lake Erie Region Conservancy President Tom Fuhrman (center) presented Senator Earll and Rep. Patrick Harkins (D-1) with a flag in gratitude for their work on legislation authorizing Pennsylvania to join the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact. Each of the Great Lake states that are a party to the compact will develop and maintain a water resources inventory, and implement a water conservation and efficiency program.
