Non-voting Informational Gaming Hearing Funding the Administration and Regulation of the Pennsylvania Gaming Industry Please click on the names to view the testimony. The Community, Economic and Recreational Development Committee will be hearing testimony concerning the history behind the budget and funding requirements in relation to the administration and regulation of the Pennsylvania gaming industry. Members will be presented with information documenting and explaining the costs and expenses of administering and regulating gaming in Pennsylvania. An explanation of Section 1401 Slot Machine Licensee Accounts (administrative and chargeback accounts) will be provided along with testimony about potential alternatives being considered with regard to the implementation of such accounts. Members will also hear testimony regarding how the implementation of Section 1401 accounts will impact Pennsylvania's gaming industry. The Committee will be hearing testimony from the following individuals with the goal of educating itself concerning what is required to insure effective administration and regulation of Pennsylvania's newly established gaming industry so that the integrity and safety of gaming and gaming related activities necessary to achieve the financial objectives of the Commonwealth is maintained:
